The Adams Family: Buford, GA
Tim and Erin live in Buford where they are active members of Victory Church. Soon after college, Erin was diagnosed with leukemia and thought she would not be able to have biological children. After IVF did not result in a pregnancy, the Adams mourned this loss but always had hearts open to adoption. They adopted their daughter in 2023 and recently received a call from their adoption agency wondering if they would like to adopt their daughter’s biological sibling. While a little nervous about their children only being 18 months apart, they are honored the birth mom would entrust them with another child. “We are eager and excited to experience God’s goodness and His faithfulness as we continue to live out the testimony He is writing for our family through adoption.”
The Cudsik Family: Senoia, GA
Kel and Kayla live in Senoia with their twin daughters, Olive and Opal (age 7). After years of infertility, God blessed them with their girls through IVF, and they still hope to grow their family through adoption. “Adoption is an extension of God’s love and it is a privilege to raise children to love the Lord.” Kel and Kayla are active members of Southside Fayette Church and are looking forward to adopting a baby from America.
The Hasz Family: Powder Springs, GA
TJ and Makenzie live in Powder Springs and are very active members of GO Church. Makenzie was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 16 and lost the ability to have biological children. However, their involvement with the children’s ministry at their church has deeply influenced their desire to adopt. “The time spent with these incredible young souls has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Serving in this capacity has solidified our belief that we will love our adopted children just as much as we would if they were biological.” TJ and Makenzie are looking forward to adopting a baby from America.
The Kashinath Family: Elberton, GA
Abhishek and Ashnah live in Elberton where they are active at Believers Baptist Church. They grew up in India and moved to the USA in 2015 before their marriage, becoming US citizens. While in India, “[we] witnessed firsthand the significant needs of orphans and felt a profound desire to contribute. Adoption offers us a unique opportunity to serve the Lord by nurturing children and guiding them to grow into devout individuals.” Abhishek and Ashnah have been matched with a 4-year-old boy with special needs in India.
The Leach Family: Doraville, GA
Jonathan and Kassandra live in Doraville with their son Aidan that they adopted in 2023. They are active members at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. “Our journey through infertility revealed that adoption was the path God had chosen for us, and we are eager to offer another child the same love, security and joy that Aidan has brought into our lives.” Jonathan and Kassandra are looking forward to adopting another baby from America.
The Ludemann Family: Marietta, GA
James and Emily live in Marietta with their biological son Isaac (6 years old) and they are active members at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. They state, “We both have a heart for the vulnerable and the nations, so this lent itself toward international adoption…We have deep faith, great support, a loving family, available training and education, desire and willingness…and we trust God to provide and strengthen.” James and Emily have submitted a letter of intent to adopt Juan (age 6) from Colombia but are not yet officially matched.
The Owens Family: Fayetteville, GA
Kellen and Kaycee live in Fayetteville with their four children, one biological and three adopted (two brought home with assistance from RACE for the Orphans Grants). They are active members at Gospel Community Church and have been mission minded throughout their entire relationship. “Our hearts were drawn to an adventure neither of us could have imagined. We began to realize that we were made and united to bring God glory through the ministry of adoption.” Kellen and Kaycee are in the process of adopting a child with special needs from Colombia.
The Staples Family: Newnan, GA
Chad and Cori live in Newnan with their son Isaac that they adopted in 2023 with assistance from a RACE for the Orphans Grant. They have maintained an open adoption with Isaac’s birth mom and in 2024, they received a call from her stating she was pregnant. This led to their adoption of Isaac’s biological sister, Hannah, in November. They have placement of Hannah but are still waiting on finalization. Chad and Cori are active at Sonrise Baptist Church.
