The Hoerner Family: Fayetteville, GA
John and Payton live in Fayetteville where John works as a pest control technician and Payton is a speech pathologist. They are active members at Southcrest Church. A few years into their marriage, the Hoerners discovered that John had cancer and would be unable to have biological children. Thankfully John is now cancer free and they feel unified in their belief that the Lord is calling them to adopt domestically.
The Scott Family: Newnan, GA
Sid and Holly live in Newnan where Sid works in business and Holly stays home to homeschool their 13-year-old biological son, Elias. They are actively involved at First Baptist Church Fairburn. For four weeks during the summer of 2023, the Scott family hosted Yos, a 13-year-old boy from Colombia. Despite many trials and after much prayer, they are now pursuing the adoption of Yos.
The Self Family: Carrollton, GA
Brian and Alisha live in Carrollton with their two sons, Everett (adopted in 2018) and Drew (adopted in 2020). Brian works as a teacher in Newnan and Alisha stays home to care for their sons. The Self family is active at Christ the King Church and are excited to be in the process of adopting their third child domestically.
The VanKlaveren Family: Brooks, GA
Michael and Jessie live in Brooks with their son Aviyah (age 3) who has Down syndrome and was adopted in 2022. Michael works as a teacher at a private school and Jessie stays home with their son. The VanKlaverens believe the Lord has called them back to the country of India to bring home another child through the miracle of adoption.
The Zamore Family: Grantville, GA
Z and Danielle live in Grantville and are active members at Southcrest Baptist Church. Z works at Yamaha and Danielle serves on staff at their church. After dealing with infertility, the Zamores are seven years into the desire for a child. They believe the Lord has now opened doors for them to adopt domestically.
