The Blevins Family: Hampton, GA
Nathan and Abbey live in Hampton with their son, Cash (4 1/2 years old), that they adopted a few years ago. They are very active in their church and have felt God leading them to grow their family once again by adopting domestically.
The Frederick Family: Atlanta, GA
Christopher and Mara live in Atlanta with their daughter Holland and their recently adopted son, Lyle. They are very active at Buckhead Church and believe adoption was part of the story God has been writing for them since the beginning of time.
The Jean Family: Auburn, GA
Richardson and Roselande live in Auburn with their four biological children, three boys and one girl. Richardson is a pastor at their church and stays at home with their children while Roselande works as a high school math teacher. They have been talking about adopting for many years, believing adoption is the greatest display and testimony of what we have inherited through Christ by faith. The Jean’s recently brought home a precious baby girl to be part of their family through the miracle of adoption.
The McFadden Family: Newnan, GA
Matt and Kathy live in Newnan with their two biological sons and two adopted daughters (RACE Grant Recipients in 2019) from Colombia. Matt is a pastor at Southcrest Church and Kathy stays home with their children, homeschooling them and working as a website manager. During the summer of 2022, they hosted a sibling group of three girls from Colombia and after several months of praying, they decided as a family to pursue adopting these girls.
The Owens Family: Atlanta, GA
Stephen and Brie live in Atlanta with their son Joseph that they adopted in 2015 and two foster children to whom they are in the process of becoming legal guardians. Stephen works as the Education Director at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute and Cori stays at home with their children. They are active members at Atlanta Presbyterian Church. At the start of 2023, Joseph’s birthmother reached out to Stephen and Brie to see if they wanted to adopt his biological brother, William, and joyfully, the Owens were able to bring William home from the hospital to welcome him into their forever family.
The Staples Family: Newnan, GA
Chad and Cori live in Newnan where they are active members of Foundation Church. Chad recently started a non-profit called More Music where he works with at-risk youth, and Cori works as a physical education teacher. They have recently been matched with their infant son through the miracle of domestic adoption.
The Stead Family: Athens, GA
Gordon, Mary Elizabeth, and their son Harry live in Athens where Gordon works at the University of Georgia and Mary Elizabeth stays home with Harry. They are active members at St. Thomas Anglican Church. Their adoption by God in Christ is the primary inspiration for them wanting to adopt a child from India.
The Surfus Family: Greenville, GA
Adam and Stacy live in Greenville. Adam is a pastor at Forward Church in Sharpsburg and Stacy is a self-employed artist. Adoption has always been a dream in their hearts, and they have other family members who are adopted. Adam and Stacy are looking forward to adopting a baby from America.
